Road Closures this Sunday – 11th Nov

The centenary parade this Sunday will mean that the usual access to the Boat Shed Markets – Princess Royal Drive will be closed between 8am and 12 midday.

To reach the Markets please use Bolt Terrace – follow Stirling Terrace south and on to Brunswick Terrace.  Immediately after Lawley Park turn right into Bolt Terrace.  Follow the road down to the harbour and turn right to reach the Boat Shed.

Just a different way to get to the same place.

Cuthbert Pastured Eggs are now at the Boat Shed Markets

Take them out of cages and chickens reward us by working hard – because it takes a lot of work to make the best possible egg.

At Cuthbert Pastured Eggs their chickens roam across a pasture to search out all the little bits and pieces of food and stuff that come together to make an egg with a yellow yolk, firm white and solid shell.  Everyone is much happier.

If quality is important – quality of your food, quality of your health and quality of life for you and the chicken – then come on down to the Boat Shed Market between 10am and 1pm on Sundays to get the best eggs directly from the farmer.

STIRLTIKI – a Maritime Challenge at Boat Shed Beach – this Sunday 11th March

It is that time of year again when the Girl Guides and the Scouts get together at the Boatshed Beach and race against the clock to build a raft (the Tiki) and sail away

We call it  – STIRLTIKI.

Participants apply their silky skills as a team to build a raft, set sail around the marina and return to the beach – if everything goes smoothly.  Come down and watch the fun and buy a ticket in an Easter Raffle run by the Girl Guides and Scouts to raise funds and keep these programs affordable for all children. It all kicks off at 9am.

The Boat Shed Market is on every Sunday from 10am to 1pm.
