This Sunday, we welcome two musicians to the Boat Shed Markets …
From 10am to 11:15 – Dave Taylor
Dave Taylor, guitarist and singer, is a veteran of the Perth music scene releasing a number of independent recordings with his band Surface Tension and opening for the likes of The Moody Blues, Joe Satriani, Hoodo Gurus, Australian Crawl, Hunters and Collectors, Icehouse, The Church and Ian Moss to name a few.
An awarded and WAMI nominated singer songwriter, Dave Taylor will play for you music that is bluesy but melodic, intimate but toe tappingly up tempo and original yet familiar.

Local Blues & Soul … Live & Free
Albany is very fortunate to have as residents some of the best musicians in Australia – and from time to time they are available to play at the Boat Shed Markets on Sundays
Lez Karski is the unique vocal & guitar style of the Hippos, Bondi Cigars & Foreday Riders.
His songs range from Hippos classics, through Bondi Cigars and Foreday Rider’s favourites, as well as material from Lez’s South & West Australian bands, The Donkeys and Nervous Investors.
Engaging the feet and brain, his music can be both darkly reflective and guitar driven dancing fun, including selected tunes from the likes of Willie Dixon, Eric Bibb, Marvin Gaye, Otis Redding, Bob Dylan, John Lee Hooker, Hendrix & Richard Thompson.
Always engaging and dynamic, with Lez’s unique guitar and vocal style, this is blues/soul at its best.
