The Cake Competition was judged by visitors to the Market last Sunday. The theme for the cakes was Boat Shed Market – plenty of room to move. Thank you to all the entrants for high quality creative cooking.
Niesha Bruce for a stunning entry that was a clear winner. Niesha didn’t title the cake but it might have been – “Chopping Block” or “Cleaning Table”. A great standard for the inaugural competition – congratulations Niesha !!
Kristy Benson claimed second prize with a boat at the jetty on a smooth and still summer day. Well done Kristy.
The Junior Prize winner was Cain Carruthers for a set of creatively decorated cupcakes with a mermaid perched among the waves. Congratulations to Cain and also to Charlotte and Tom Carruthers for their high quality entries.
